Solamni manufactures DE90 pattern PVC vinyl leather on precision calendering lines with closed-loop thickness control. Each production batch undergoes the following validation protocols:

Dimensional & Visual Inspection:
Thickness is measured at 10 points per linear meter using a digital micrometer (precision ±0.01mm). Batch acceptance requires ≥98% of readings within specified tolerance (±0.05mm). The DE-90 embossed litchi grain pattern is verified against master sample plates under standard lighting (D65, 5000K) to ensure texture consistency across the entire roll width.

Mechanical Performance Testing:

Peeling Strength: A universal tensile tester (UTM) measures coating-to-backing adhesion per ISO 2411 at 200 mm/min crosshead speed. Minimum acceptance: 25 N/3cm.

Abrasion Resistance: Martindale tester runs 25,000 cycles under 12 kPa pressure. Surface coating must show no substrate exposure or visible pitting.

Flex Fatigue: Bally flexometer performs 50,000 cycles at ambient temperature and 15,000 cycles at -10°C. Zero delamination or cracking required.

Anti-Mildew Validation:
ASTM G21 testing is conducted over 28 days using a mixed fungal spore suspension (Aspergillus niger, Penicillium funiculosum, Chaetomium globosum, Trichoderma virens). Solamni guarantees Grade 0 (no visible fungal growth) for all standard colors.

Environmental & Chemical Compliance:
All PVC resins and plasticizers are screened for phthalates (DEHP, DBP, BBP, DIBP each <0.1% per REACH Annex XVII), heavy metals (Pb ≤90ppm, Cd ≤10ppm), and formaldehyde (≤75mg/kg). Solamni maintains in-house GC-MS (Agilent 8890) for restricted substance screening.

Factory Traceability:
Each master roll receives a laser-etched batch number linking to production date, calender line ID, PVC resin lot numbers, and QC test results. Retained samples (A4-size cutouts) are archived for 36 months in climate-controlled storage (23°C ±2°C, 50% ±5% RH). Digital Certificate of Analysis issued within 48 hours of production.
